The Country Guard Mod is a fantastic addition to MCPE that introduces new defenders to protect villages from monsters. These brave individuals can be trained from ordinary citizens, providing them with swords or bows to activate a specific class.

The Country Guard Mod replaces the standard skeleton mob with a new type of villager that can be found within villages. This new mob can also be spawned using a special spawn egg.

The mod includes two different classes of guards: archers with a 35% chance of appearing and swordsmen with a 65% chance of appearing. Each guard is equipped with mail armor and an iron helmet, along with either a bow or a sword depending on their class.

Once trained, the guards spend most of their time patrolling the village and keeping an eye out for potential threats.

In addition to training existing villagers, players can also convert ordinary residents into healers by giving them an empty glass bottle. These healers can restore the player's health when needed.

Some notable features of the mod include:

• Replacing skeleton mobs with guards
• Equipping guards with iron chest and helmet, as well as an iron sword or bow
• Allowing guards to open and close doors
• Making guards automatically attack monsters
• Increasing the appearance of guards within villages
• Converting regular villagers into guards by giving them an iron helmet
• Transforming villagers into healers by offering them an empty glass bottle
• Changing the guard's class by providing them with a bow or sword
• Obtaining the skeleton-desiccator head from lower world fortress chests

To make the guard easily identifiable, players can use name tags to give them a specific name.
